Civil Technician / Hand

The Civil Technician is responsible for supporting his crew during wireless cell site construction. Taking direction from the Civil Foreman, this individual will have the ability to build a site based on set of plans, Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs) provided. Candidate must be willing to operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment and machinery on a daily basis in all outdoor weather environments. All duties must be performed in accordance with OSHA and other worker safety standards with keeping high quality, accountability and budget timelines in mind.

Job Functions

Work on and around electrical components including but not limited to conduit installations, cabling, grounding and various connectors.
Perform form setting and site layout
Safely operate heavy machinery for compaction and welding etc
Perform basic concrete carpentry
Prepare materials for daily projects, preps truck and trailer with necessary items to complete scheduled build
Successfully complete formal and on-the-job training

Qualifications

Telecommunications experience ideal
Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools
Technical Understanding/Ability
Ability to use the range of operations of GPS, computer, camera and other technical equipment
Use equipment and facilities properly including maintenance of tools and work sites
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Must be authorized to work in the US
Valid driver’s license preferred with a driving record that meets TxDot requirements and company policy criteria
Prior training in Rescue, First Aid, CPR with a working knowledge of safety standard standards and regulations

Job Functions

Knowledge of basic AC/DC power is a plus
Data Cable and Fiber Optic capabilities is preferred

Associate Degree in Electronics or Related Field.
Journeyman or Masters Electrician license preferred

Welding experience
Backhoe, mini excavator, compact loader experience

Construction Manager

Construction, operations, and maintenance of antennas and cell site equipment and other telecommunications systems. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and maintains telecommunications equipment or systems: operates related test equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format: Uses predetermined methods, sequences and setups to perform inspections or tests. *This position requires strong organizational skills and the capability to work with minimal supervision **Assists Project Manager in all internal aspects of job, crew and material coordination, scheduling and deployment.

Job Functions

Oversee the daily operations at assigned sitesMaintains communications with customer field personnel, ensuring that client specifications are met
Assist Project Managers with bid walks as needed
Assist with the preparation and submission of proposals / bids as needed
Attend pre-construction walks, order necessary materials and organize site-specific details for review with the site Foreman Review scopes of work and schedule with job foreman
Schedule and Mobilize company crews and approved subcontractors, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work
Adhere to and enforce Diverse Construction, Inc(s) Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan
Ensure all crews review and sign off on safety topics and that the sign off sheet is placed in the safety drive
Procure change orders from client to ensure payment
Maintain customer database on projects taking ultimate responsibility for database integrity
Assist in preparation and coordinate all final closeout documents to ensure their accuracy and submittal to client in a timely manner
Ensure permitting, inspections and code compliance are completed as needed for each assigned project
Direct and supervise all tower and civil foreman working on your assigned projects and provide leadership and guidance for crew members
Review project costs for accuracy of time, materials and subcontractors
Order all rental equipment needed for projects and ensure it is returned in a timely fashion
Call in locates and notify all local utility companies before any excavations take place
Comply with carrier specifications on all site construction by detailed coordination, review and approval of all documentation including but not limited to construction reports, grounding reports and as-builts
Procure and provide all carrier materials for a project to a site by timely and accurately specifying required materials and coordinating with internal/external individuals as required
Monitor and report performance of projects by ensuring full utilization of tracking tools and reports, observation of and attendance at progress meetings, and direct interaction with personnel and management for feedback

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications/wireless industry
With at least 3 of those years of experience as a Tower Foreman or Construction Manager
Must be able to sweep (Anritsu), PIM and Fiber Test
Demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, crane signals, gin pole operations, safety and general industry knowledge
Must be able to read and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scopes of work
Must be able to handle multiple projects effectively
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong computer skills in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Present professional image at all times

Payroll Administrator

The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for assisting the HR Manager/Controller with all HR duties! Skills proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise is a must. Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as part of a team. Accurate data entry skills and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills is a must.

Job Functions

Assist with preparation of all documents for on-boarding new employees
Prepares weekly payroll including journal entries, and monthly payroll accounting reconciliations.
Creates, reviews and reconciles Quarterly 940, 941, and FUTA tax filings, payments and Yearly W-2s.
Responsible for proper worker’s comp coding, 401k and year-end payroll reports.
Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance.
Assists HR Manager with Insurance, W/C, and TWC Claims/Reporting.
Responsible for entering and updating employee data in the payroll system.
Monitor PTO Accruals and PTO taken.
Create payroll reports as necessary.
Assist with HR correspondence, record keeping, reconciliation, file maintenance etc.
Participate in reviewing and coordinating all benefits.
Support HR Managers with day to day administration.
Maintain and keep all safety and training files up to date.
Coordinate and set up schedules for safety courses.
Ability to facilitate in company roll-outs for new policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications

2+ years of Payroll Administration is required
Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise a MUST
Prior experience within an in-house payroll department working with internal payroll systems
Possess a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Tower Foreman

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tower Tech 3 (Top Hand)
